Kick-off Meeting of the Indo-German Medical Forum: January 27, 2017 in Hamburg
Owner and CEO of markets and more and General Manager of BVMW India, Yvonne Julia Metzger organized the Kick-off Meeting of the Indo-German Medical Forum in Hamburg with more than 20 companies coming from the business fields of medical devices, pharmaceutical industry and biotechnology. The participants created the initial framework and defined targets for the future of the forum. It is the first Indo-German Medical Forum on a global level.
The Consul General of India of the City of Hamburg, Mr. Madan Lal Raigar welcomed the participants and made clear, that the time for an increasing exchange between India and Germany within contents of medicine, pharma and biotechnology is perfect. The Government of India is supporting these sectors with high priority because the market and the need of new technology is huge. Also Dr. Amal K. Mukhopadhyay, founder and CEO of Elga Biotech and the Hanseatic India Forum e.V. is convinced: “The market opportunities for German and Indian companied need to be taken. The forum offers an innovative and trendsetting platform for companies from both countries.”
The Indo-German Medical Forum will act as a representation of interest for enterprises from both countries and will offer direct contact to important authorities in both countries. The participants will receive exclusive data and branch knowledge, have the chance for exchange among each other, get access to an individual Indo-German B2B (distribution) area and business events.
